Anicent cultures all around the world carved petroglyphs of spirals.  Spirals are found all throughout nature.  Inspired by this, the Taino people decorated their bodies, vases, ceremonial items and cave walls with spirals.  This symbol not only represents the element of water but also the cosmic energy from which all comes from.  
 
Muchas diversas culturas antiguas tallaban petroglifos de espirales.  Los espirales se encuentran en toda la naturaleza.  Inspirados por este fenómeno, los Taínos decoraban sus cuerpos, sus vasijas, objetos ceremoniales y las paredes de sus cuevas con espirales.  Este símbolo no solo representa el elemento del agua pero tambíen representa la energía universal de donde se inicia todo.
